The differences between hot-dip galvanized steel pipe and cold galvanized steel pipe are as follows:
1. Surface treatment process difference: hot dip galvanized pipe: steel pipe made of welded steel plate or steel strip after crimping, and square tube is placed in hot-dip galvanizing bath basically. Cold galvanized steel pipe: different from hot galvanizing, cold galvanizing is mainly used for corrosion prevention through electrochemical principle. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the zinc powder is in full contact with the steel to produce electrode potential difference, so the surface treatment of steel pipe is very important.
2. The appearance of the naked eye is different. The cold galvanized steel pipe is smooth and bright. The plating layer with color passivation process is also yellow green and mainly colored. The coating with white passivation process is blue white or white green, and the white passivation process is slightly colored at the positive angle with sunlight.
3. The surface of hot-dip galvanized steel pipe is slightly rough than that of cold galvanized steel pipe, and it is silvery white. The appearance is easy to make process water pipe and a few drops, which is unique at one end of the workpiece. However, the hot-dip galvanized zinc coating is several times thicker than the electroplated zinc coating, and its corrosion resistance is several times that of the electroplated zinc coating.
